Parent Training
ABA is most effective when it is a partnership between the clinic and the family. Eastside ABA provides culturally informed parent training to ensure that skills learned during sessions are generalized to the in-home environment.
Parents are trained to implement the same strategies and interventions utilized by Eastside ABA staff to ensure consistency between environments. Parent training is individualized based on the needs and strengths of each family.
For parents waiting for services, we are able to provide training before services start. Group parent training is also available.
Group
- Several types of group services are available: Learner Readiness and social skills groups are available year round.
- Skills retention groups are available in the summer for clients who are at risk of regression when school and other services are not available. These groups are based on age and skills and run throughout the summer.
