April Vian, Owner/Executive Director
I graduated from Purdue University Global in 2012 with a Master’s in Psychology and emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked in the field of ABA for the last ten years, providing services in home, school, and clinic settings. I have been with Eastside ABA since 2019. I enjoy working with a variety of ages and am particularly interested in working with older teens and adults. In the future I hope to expand my knowledge to further help underserved populations. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children, as well as reading, traveling, hiking, and camping.
Courtney Brien, Clinical Director
My name is Courtney Brien and I have worked in the field of ABA for 5 years. I received my bachelor’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis and graduated with a Master of Education concentrated in ABA from UW. I enjoy helping children learn through naturalistic teaching and incidental teaching strategies. I am particularly interested in working with populations that have comorbid mental health disorders with autism. I love the field of ABA because each day I am learning more and more from my clients. In the future, I would like to utilize ABA in supporting military veterans with traumatic brain injury. Outside of work I love playing with my dog, traveling, and downhill skiing with my husband!
Tamara Cave, Schedule Coordinator
Hello, my name is Tamara. I didn’t always have a “behind the scenes” position at Eastside. I started out as a behavior technician over 5 years ago. I graduated from college with my BA in Psychology several years before that and knew I wanted to work with kids that needed a little extra help to thrive in their world! I really enjoyed my years as a technician and particularly loved working with the younger preschool age group. I transitioned into my current role after I had my first child almost 4 years ago. I work from home taking care of all things scheduling while also raising my two beautiful daughters! I have been married to my husband for almost 7 years and we love traveling, spending time with our girls, and eating good food! My most important goal in life is to raise my children to be kind humans.
Nathalie Fonte, B.S. (Biology), Certified Behavior Technician
I have 20 years of experience working with children with special needs. I began this rewarding work, when my own children were in elementary school, when I was hired as a Special Education Para-educator. Ten years ago, I joined the team at Eastside ABA. The clinical setting and my continued work in the public school system has been very rewarding and in many ways complement each other. One of my greatest joys is discovering the unique set of skills each child possesses and using those skills to help them reach their full potential. I believe every child has the right to self-advocacy, the ability to enjoy a happy life and be a contributing member of their family, home and community. In my free time, I enjoy walks around my neighborhood, long winding bike rides and a strong cup of black tea (cream and sugar, please).
Patrick Bertlein, CBT
Patrick studied liberal arts at Evergreen and is pursuing a BCaBA. He has been a Certified Behavior Technician for one year and para-educator two. He enjoys working with kids and the general field of Psychology. Additional training includes Right Response de-escalation tactics. Outside of work, Patrick enjoys hiking, reading, and playing guitar. His goals are to obtain a BCaBA certification and do something creative like write a book or make an album.
Han Kim, BCBA
Hi, my name is Han Joo Kim! I graduated from the University of Washington with a communication major and continued my education at the University of Arizona for my Masters in Special Education to become a BCaBA. I was initially drawn to this field because of my interest in behavioral therapy and how it changed the quality of life for many clients. I saw the impact I was making and could not imagine another career for myself that was as fulfilling and rewarding as this. My specific area of interest is treating clients from ages 5 to 13 with severe aggression. I am a Board-certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), licensed with the Department of Health (DOH), and CPR-AED certified. Outside of work, I love exploring outdoor activities such as camping, water sports, and rock climbing with my fiancé and cat, who acts like he’s a dog. My life goal is to one day build my own clinic to continue to serve, educate, help, and guide those in need
Corynne Evans, CBT

The combination of working around children every day & being in my element with phones, insurance issues & a bit of accounting is the best!
I am an avid reader, deck gardener, photographer, traveler and concert lover. Nothing better than live music.

I have a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. I also have an MBA with a concentration in Ecommerce. I previously worked as a program manager in the technology field, but switched careers to become a BCBA after I saw how much of a positive impact it had on my child who was diagnosed with Autism. I went back to school in 2017 to begin my training, and after graduating, joined Eastside ABA as a behavior technician, then as a licensed assistant behavior analyst, before finally passing my board exams recently and I am now the clinic’s newest BCBA! I specialise in working with adolescents and young adults and I am also passionate about working with minorities, especially those that are typically under-served. Outside of work, I love gardening, traveling, creating art, barbecuing and going shopping with my 3 daughters.
